Verbier Festival
The Verbier Festival is an annual celebration of classical music held in the Swiss Alps, renowned for its top-class performances, international talent and educational initiatives. The 2026 edition will take place from 16 July to 2 August. This year's line-up includes the following artists: Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lahav Shani, Gianandrea Noseda, Daniel Harding, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, Mikhaïl Pletnev, Gábor Takács-Nagy, James Gaffigan, Vasily Petrenko...
Dates to remember:
- 21.11.2025: Opening of the ticket office for the 2026 season - Presentation of the programme: 60 MainStage concerts, around a hundred masterclasses and numerous free events over 18 days in the heart of the Valais resort of Verbier.
- Dec. 2025: Christmas concert in Verbier (date to be confirmed).
- From 30 January to 8 February 2026: 1st edition of the Verbier Festival exports to Shenzhen.
- 16.7.26: Opening ceremony on Thursday 16 July 2026 of the 33rd edition - honouring Swiss traditions: the Oberwalliser Vokalensemble and the Ensemble de Cuivres Valaisan.
- 17.7.26: Inaugural concert conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, who will be making his grand return to the Verbier Festival.

CATERING IN VERBIER DURING THE FESTIVAL
Le Rouge, the restaurant in Verbier, will be exceptionally open for breakfast, lunch and dinner during the two weeks of the festival, offering seasonal, high-quality dishes. A special summer menu will soon be available on our website.
The bar "La Luge" will also be open for your evenings after or before the concerts, to relax or prolong the pleasure of a great evening. Don't hesitate to book in advance, as places in the restaurant are limited and fill up very quickly.
